his new location is Plug and Play’s first official office in Africa, with a plan to make Morocco the premiere destination of startups in the surrounding regions. Plug and Play Morocco is scheduled to launch in November 2020 and will have an initial focus on Smart Cities; before extending to other fields.

Plug and Play Morocco plans on running two, three-month accelerator programs per year. Startups and corporations interested can apply here.
How does it work?
- Apply on plugandplaytechcenter.com/morocco
- If your startup meets our selection criteria, we invite you to a meeting by videoconference
- Once this first contact is established and if you are eligible, we will invite you to Selection Day: the day when you will have to pitch in front of a jury of executives of our partner.
- If you are selected, you are prompted to join the cohort of startups to an acceleration batch (a program of 3 months).
Application conditions
- B2B or B2C startup agnostic phase with operations in Africa and ambition (at least) to develop some in Morocco
- Evidence of a clear progression and capacity of the business model to scale
- Competent team with complementary skills
- Desires to continue to innovate its business model/process and products
- Real added value of the product on the market
- Disruptive technology (at least in Morocco)
